being kind, friendly and helpful to others is perceived as someone to exploit.
being harsh, hostile and indifferent towards others is perceived as being evil.
be the first and be ready for everyone to exploit you.
be the second and be ready for everyone to hate you.
the middle road is even worse, then everyone hates you and exploits you.
Humans are most of the time both. so why do we use the phrase "to be humane" as a good thing. ?
